Charge and Membership

 

 

 

Charge to the Task Force:

 

The CSU Libraries Live/Web Reference Task Force was appointed by the COLD Executive Committee and charged with investigating the real-time,

interactive on-line reference and instruction environment including:

 

Þ    Current initiatives, including actual and potential user populations

Þ    Desirability and feasibility of participating in existing initiatives

Þ    Software options

Þ    Management of system-wide extended service hours via shared

reference services;

Þ    Information Competence possibilities;  and

Þ    Potential role of Pharos

 

The Task Force is also charged with making recommendations on a CSU pilot project in advance of the May 2002 COLD meeting.
