RILM (Rèpertoire International de
Littèrature Musicale)
This database covers all aspects of music research,
with an emphasis on classical music. It indexes journal articles, books,
bibliographies, catalogues, conference proceedings, discographies,
dissertations, Festschriften, and performance reviews. It is recommended by the
CSUF music faculty as the first place to look for music
research. RILM allows for 4 simultaneous users
and includes research written from 1967-present date.

When we click on the SFX button, this screen shows up. We do not own the article and there is a link to request the material through InterLibrary Loan.

In this
example, we own the article in paper copy and it is on the second floor of the
north library building. To get the article, I would write down the
call number (ML 1 N77) and the issue
information (19th Century Music, vol 18, issue 2, page 108)
This article
is also available in online full-text format through a publisher of full text
called JSTOR. To get the article I would click on
