Notice how I
can put OR between similar words and widen my search.
To limit the search to journals, click the box near the bottom left of
the screen

2. I found 170
articles on my topic. Here are the first three. To see more
information about this article, click on the article titles. Notice article #1 has the full
text of the article in a PDF file

3. When I clicked on the pink title of the
second article, this comes up. Notice the the title of the article, the authors,
the name of the
journal and which issue. This information makes up the citation which is entered in
the bibliography.

4. This above screen the abstract, a paragraph length description of what the article is about. The bottom of the article record has the SFX button.
5. The article below, "I'll never Drink Like that
Again." is found in the Journal of Studies on Alcohol. The library
owns the journal in paper format from the years 1977 to current date and
it is found on the 2nd floor, North Library Building. The call number is
HV 5001 J65.

6. The article below, "College Women and Personal
Goals" is found in an online format through a company called SpringerLink.
To locate the article, click on the red button labeled GO.

7. The article below, "Sensation Seeking and
Alcohol Use by College Students" is not available at the Pollak Library which
means we do not own a copy of the article in either an online or print version.
You make request the article through Iliad/Interlibrary Loan. In order to
request the article, Click on the Iliad/Interlibrary Loan link.
