This resource is especially strong on biographies of inventors.  Descriptions of inventions are technical.

Expands the print version of Encyclopedia Britannica with links to web sites, images, audio and video files.
Partial Full-Text Magazine Article Database
bullet Expanded Academic ASAP
Contains articles from many popular science and technology magazines published in the last two decades.

The complete list of databases is located on the Pollak library homepage.  Click on: "Databases by title" link.  Searches for your invention or inventor will result in a list of article citations.  Just click on the
SFX-enhanced source to determine if the library has access to the complete article.

  Contains abstracts to general science literature from the United States and Europe.
